Summer Refurbishment of Classrooms

Great Barr Primary & Nursery Academy commissioned Masefields to design and coordinate the refurbishment of two Year 5 classrooms to be completed during the schools summer holidays.

Whilst simple in nature, the work had a very short programme, restricted to the school holiday and to meet a critical date for installation of teaching walls in each of the classrooms.   The original walls were clad with a fibre board material which following removal revealed bare and irregular brickwork, requiring the need for additional plastering,  These unforeseen works did not prevent the project being completed on time and within budget.
