The property was a large detached house on the outskirts of a Warwickshire village with views across the county border and overlooking the Worcestershire countryside.
The house had been extended on several occasions and now lacked a lack of identity or natural flow through the house, rooms were underused and a defective swimming pool was left unwanted and unused.
Careful design consideration was required to create an imposing approach which offered a welcoming entrance and functional space, whilst maintaining the views across the open countryside. The property now offers a magnificent family home with a large kitchen dining space, family entertainment area, and home office.
These works were undertaken using permitted development, which also included an outdoor entertaining area consisting of a garden kitchen, raised patio, and a replacement swimming pool with games room in a detached annexe.
