Happy 18th Birthday to Masefields!

As we prepare to celebrate 18 years of Masefields Architects & Surveyors this feels like a great opportunity to pause and take a look back, and share some of our memories whilst extending our thanks for being an important part of our journey so far.

18 years feels like quite a milestone!  It has certainly been an interesting journey so far with plenty of achievements and challenges. We are extremely proud and thankful to be here, and still going strong.

We did however have a slight head start, as Graham Masefield started a private practice in 1976, and it was on his retirement, that Mike and Steve formed Masefields Marchant & Brabbs Ltd in December 2006.  In 2020, Alan Smith Associates became part of Masefields bringing over 40 years of architectural experience. Alan remains a key part of the team today.

Masefields is a small practice, which enables our architects & surveyors to collaborate with each other and be involved in every step of the process from initial surveys and concepts through to the final project. The past few years have seen us complete a range of interesting and diverse projects, including social houses in East Anglia, Cheshire, East & West Midlands, as well as sustainable homes in Wales, and a unique boathouse for a private client in Worcestershire.  We have also completed a Virtual Reality entertainment venue in Birmingham, and of course, we have created innumerable grand designs for domestic clients with remodelling and extensions to their homes. We’ve also had the opportunity of working with several community sports clubs, football league clubs and a Premiership rugby club.

As with any business, it hasn’t all been plain sailing! But through the highs and lows, we remain committed to our fundamental mission to create inviting places of work, unique homes and inclusive community facilities. We are proud to be here, still enjoying the ride.

We would like to express our thanks to all our clients, developers, contractors and consultants we have worked with over the 18 years. We look forward to continuing our partnerships in the future.
