A Welcome in the Hillside

Masefields assisted in the building of a 62 home estate in Kerry, Powys  in 2021 which was completed over three phases. The final phase of this project was a carbon neutral scheme, which was achieved through higher standards of insulation, solar panels and heat pumps.

Since 2018 Masefields has been assisting Wryo with this development in collaboration with Alan Smith Associates. The initial phases were built to the then current Welsh building standards. The last phase plans to achieve Carbon Neutral status for all the homes by using better levels of insulation, air source heat pumps and photo voltaic panels.

The site is located at the edge of the expanding town of Kerry and provides family homes for an increasing number of home workers with access to the beautiful Welsh countryside.
