Single Storey Rear Extension

Our Clients had occupied their home for many years, but as their family grew, so did the number of guests at family events and parties, making a larger entertainment space a desirable.  The house had been altered and extended on many occasions and the origins dated back to the late 1800s.  The clients request was to create a large area accessible to the kitchen which was the central hub of this home, as well as the large garden which lent itself to all year round for entertaining family and friends.

After listening to the clients and understanding how they intended to use the space, Masefields created a contemporary single storey extension to the rear of the property and with the inclusion of corner bifold doors were able to create a space that could be fully opened up on two sides to provide the true connection between indoor and outdoor entertaining.
