Chartered Architect / Architectural Assistant

Masefields Architects & Surveyors offer an excellent opportunity for both a Senior Architect and a Part II Architect to develop their careers in a well-established Warwickshire based practice that is caring about its employees and clients, maintaining long lasting relationships and where the benefits of a healthy work-life balance are recognised.

We are responsive to our client requirements, applying technical expertise and commercial realism across multiple sectors including, residential from domestic projects to bespoke houses, small estate developments, as well as working on industrial and commercial projects, local community facilities, sports clubs, and heritage buildings.

As a Chartered Architect you will be able to take a project from initial conception to delivery, throughout all the RIBA stages and will ideally have

• 5-years PQE with at least 3- years job running experience
• AutoCAD proficient, experience with Revit is preferred but not essential.
• Experience in both Contract Administration and Principal Designer roles
• Ability to produce specifications and manage the tender process.
• Ability to plan and deal with multiple projects at varying stages
• Excellent understanding of current UK planning and building regulations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

As an Architectural Assistant depending on your experience, you will also have your own projects to run through all RIBA stages and ideally you will have

• 2+ years’ experience
• be enthusiastic and willing to learn
• AutoCAD proficient, experience with Revit is preferred but not essential.
• have good organisational and communication skills
• have knowledge of Building Regulations and construction techniques

In both roles, you must be eligible to work in the UK, hold a valid full UK driving licence and own vehicle is a necessity
